PRISMA project, in collaboration with DayOne (D1), aims to create a smart pump for insulin treatment.

The device will provide continuous delivery of short-acting insulin all day long using a programmable device. This approach replaces the need for multiple daily injections with a continuous insulin infusion.

The pump developed by D1 and CeOx will be remarkably smaller in size and energy consumption than the current state-of-the-art, thanks to the implementation of cutting-edge smart materials and optimal design.

The reduced dimension will also allow to couple together more than one device. This will allow to extend the output flowrate or mix different fluids.
